Room Reservations/Class Scheduling/Orientation and Tours
Please select from the following options to initiate the scheduling process:
Schedule a general library orientation or tour

Tours at any of these six libraries/units are available by appointment. Please

Holland and Terrell Libraries

You can take a self-guided walking tour of Holland and Terrell Libraries. The
orientation tour features numbered signs throughout the library and a
corresponding handout of descriptions. The handout, titled "Your Library Tour"
can be found in the guides rack at the main library entrance gates. The
library's hours of
operation information will aid you in planning your tour.

You can also schedule a guided tour from a librarian at Holland and Terrell
Libraries. Please contact the Library Instruction Department at 509-335-7735 or
email at libinstr@wsu.edu
. In your message, be sure to:

leave your name and contact information
-
tell us the number of people who will be on the tour and any pertinent
information about them

provide a first and second choice of dates and times for your tour - tours
generally last 20 to 30 minutes

It is important to note that tours provide people with an introduction and
physical orientation to the library, but do not include formalized instruction
or hands-on computer activities. Use the
Class Scheduling Form to schedule an instructional session.

If you are a library faculty or staff member wanting to schedule a meeting or
gathering of any type in the "Library Instruction Classroom" (Terrell 105) or
the "Library Instruction Lab" (Terrell 103), please contact the Library
Instruction Department at 509-335-7735 or email at
libinstr@wsu.edu.

Schedule a library instruction session for a course at WSU
If you are a WSU instructor wanting to to schedule a library instruction
session, please fill out the request form. If you
are scheduling for a class outside of the English Composition, Freshman
Seminar, or World Civilizations Programs, you may also directly contact your
subject specialist librarian to help you with planning and scheduling
your library session.
Please allow at least one week's notice when scheduling a class.
When instructors take an active role in the library instructional session, the
students reap greater benefits. Plan to attend the session with your class.
