UCOLL 300 - Unit II - Introduction

This tutorial will introduce you to a set of "core databases" which you will be using for UCOLL 300. These databases (as well as others we will look at this semester) will be useful to you in future WSU Online classes - especially those which require research papers.

After completing this tutorial, you should:

• Be familiar with various citation types you will encounter in the core databases.
• Understand that each database has a unique purpose, and contains unique information.
• Know the names and the basic purpose of the "core databases".

Each page of the tutorial will highlight at least one of these three goals.

Look for Butch at the bottom of each page for pointers that will help you reach these three goals.
