Up the Snake River into Hell's Canyon

Paul Brians & Paula Elliot, August 31, 2003

After having lived in the region for decades, we decided it was time to take a tour of one of the most famous nearby attractions: Hell's Canyon, through which flows the Snake River, forming the boundary between Oregon and Idaho. We set off for Clarkston to catch our jet-boat which was scheduled for departure at 7:30 AM. It takes about 35 minutes to get from Pullman to Clarkston, so you don't have to get up outrageously early to do this trip.
