There are several ways to get there from Pullman in about a half hour, but the easiest is to go west on the highway to Colfax a short distance up the hill and turn left onto Wawawai Road, just below the Hilltop Motel (if you reach the top of the hill before turning, you've gone way too far). There are signs to Almota and Boyer Park at crucial points. Go west on Wawawai Road for 4.2 miles and turn right on Wilbur Gulch Road for another 4.2 miles, then continue on Goose Creek Road for 7.6, turn left on Almota Road, where you'll wind slowly down the Almota Grade toward the Snake River valley visible in the distance (see above). When you reach the river, turn left and look for the entrance to Boyer Marina and the second entrance to the park on your right.
