Request a Consultation

If you would like more information about issues related to scholarly communication initiatives, you are more than welcome to arrange a consultation with a librarian. Alternatively, you can request a presentation or workshop for a group or class. The following are examples of topics that could be covered in a consultation or presentation (this list is by no means exhaustive):

  • Citation metrics and alternative metrics for assessing impact of scholarly work

  • Tools for increasing visibility of faculty and student research—profiles, social media sites, ORCID

  • Research Exchange

  • Data management plans

  • Open access publishing

  • Author’s rights, copyright, Creative Commons licenses

  • Open educational resources

For any of these, please contact Talea Anderson, or 509-335-2266. Advance notice prior to proposed instruction sessions would be particularly appreciated.
