In the stairwell opposite the Compton Union Building reception desk is this charming exploded view of WSU by Katrin Wiese, titled "Common Ground."
It's not a useful guide to navigation on campus, but a lot of fun to explore. Look for the brown "ghost figures" of WSU people from earlier days.
The only recognizable professor in the tryptich is the late Ricardo Sanchez (d. 1995), much-loved poet and teacher of creative writing.
