The little town of Palouse, fifteen minutes north of Pullman on Highway 27 (Grand Avenue in Pullman), is a remarkably vibrant community for such a small place. There are several antique stores, and the funky Green Frog Cafe, which serves tasty lunches and dinners. Inside check out the ornate old safe set in the wall (right).
