Paul Brians and Paula Elliot's Trip to Banff National Park
and Points North and West

We decided to begin our sabbatical year with a camping trip to Banff National Park. The Canadian Rockies are a long day's drive north of Pullman. We stayed at a motel just across the border the first night in order to arrive early in the day at our campground in Johnson Canyon and get a good site (no reservations are allowed).
The rangers encourage tent camping, and gave us a huge site big enough for an RV.
