Approximate number of items: 100

The Task Force on Library Administrative Organization was appointed by the Director of Libraries in January, 1977 to suggest an organizational pattern for the library suitable for planning the remodeling of the Holland Library building as well as incorporating the operational changes resulting from the establishment of a separate Science and Engineering Library. The Committee's final report was made in May of 1977.

The present records are those of one member of the task force, Alice M. Spitzer, and are undoubtedly somewhat incomplete. They are, however, a working file illustrating the deliberations of the task force.

The records consist of minutes of the task force (as well as those of the building remodeling committee), photocopies of articles, notes and drafts of reports, not in any particular order.

Because of the small size of this accession, no attempt was made to reorganize it.
