SpringerLink (with thanks to the librarians from UC Chico) 1. In Springer, select desired citations by clicking on “Add to Marked Items” found in the top right of every citation in the “All Search Results” view. 2. Click on “Marked Items” in the left margin under “My SpringerLink.” 3. Select desired citations from Marked List view by clicking in corresponding check box. 4. Click on “Download this list" icon in top right margin. 5. Move down the new page to "Export the citations from your current list of items" click on “RIS.” 6. Click on “Save.” 7. If your browser allows, select folder and name for file. 8. Click on “Save.” 9. When the download is complete (a second or two) click “Close” (may not be necessary). Note the file name as it saves, may be on your desktop. 10. In EndNote Web, select "Import References" from the "Collect" tab page. 11. Select "Customize this list." (Skip this step and go to #13 if you previously added Procite RIS to your list of filters.) 12. Select “Procite RIS” from the "All" column and click “Copy to Favorites.” 13. Click on the "Browse" button, find & select your file, and click on "open" which adds the file name & path to the "File" box. 14. Click on the pull down menu for the "Filter" box and select "Procite RIS." 15. Click on the pull down menu for the "To" box and select the group/folder where you want your citations, or name a "New Group" (we usually use the "unfiled" group for new items). 16. Click “Import.” The screen should indicate the number of records imported into the selected group/folder. 17. View your citations by clicking on the appropriate group/folder found on the "My References" tab page.
