Griffin is the Online Public Access Catalog for the Washington
State University Libraries. This is the database you will use most often
to find books and other library materials within the WSU Library system.
Griffin offers you many important features:
- Assists you in finding books and other library material.
- Allows you to view and extend your loan
time for whatever books you have checked out.
- Gives you online access to course reserves material.

When you are using Griffin,
look for the "Request Item" button. It
allows you to have books (and other library materials) sent to you
from any of the non-Pullman WSU Libraries. These requested items can
be sent to any of the six Pullman libraries, the service takes about
three days, and is free to WSU affiliates. Request Item
is also used to recall items that are currently checked out to another
user.
(DDP students can use Request Item for book delivery.)

There are other databases you can use to find books -- NetLibrary, Summit, and WorldCat.
