The Library Instruction Team, working in cooperation with the Library Assessment Team, have created the LISD for library instruction sessions. The database has improved our ability to gather and analyze teaching data. For example, we are now getting a better understanding of the reach of our instructional efforts across the Pullman campus and discovering how information literacy skills impact GPAs and retention. The database will be the storage site for statistics involving future instructional efforts and provide the ability to look retrospectively back to the 2007-2008 academic year.
