Planned service outage for Holland/Terrell Libraries: Wednesday, September 17th, from approximately 4:00 am to 6:00 am

ITS is performing systems/network maintenance and the following services will be unavailable during that time: Phone service, WiFi, and all WSU Pullman Libraries websites. Additionally, Search It functionality will be limited during that time.

We anticipate these services will return to full functionality no later than 6:00 am.

 

Collections Outside the Libraries

In a effort to make information easily available to WSU students, the WSU Libraries have agreed to catalog some materials found outside the WSU Library system. These materials can be found when searching Search It, but must be checked out from and returned to the appropriate facility. Below, is a listing of the outside libraries. Gender Identity/Expression and Sexual Orientation Resource Center (GIESORC) Program Library

The mission of the Gender Identity/Expression and Sexual Orientation Resource Center is to support education and advocacy for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning, and straight-allied students, staff, and faculty, as well as alumni and members of the Palouse community.

The GIESORC Library is located in the Gender Identity/Expression and Sexual Orientation Resource Center, Smith Gym, room 303. For more information, visit the GIESORC website.

The Kemble Stout Music Listening Library

The Kemble Stout Music Listening Library houses WSU Libraries' musical scores. It also has a non-circulating departmental collection of records and cds that may be used on the premises.

The Music Listening Library is located in Kimbrough Hall, Room 360. It is maintained by the School of Music and Theatre Arts.

Gladys Jennings Book Collection

The Gladys Jennings Book Collection (formerly Talmadge Anderson Heritage House) was created to facilitate the cultural and educational development of African American faculty, staff, students and the entire Washington State University community.

The Gladys Jennings Book Collection is located in MSS African American Student Center in the CUB. For more information about this program, please visit the African American Student Center's site.

Human Relations and Diversity Library

Human Relations and Diversity leads, supports, and facilitates WSU's diversity efforts. For more information about this department, please visit Human Relations and Diversity's site.

The library is located in French Administration, room 130. This room is also used as a conference room. If there is no one there or if it is in use, ask for assistance in room 134. Note: at the present time, the materials are available for use in the library only.

Women's Resource Center (WRC) Library

The mission of the Women's Resource Center is to facilitate a work and learning environment at Washington State University that supports the success and empowerment of all women students, staff and faculty, as individuals and as a community.

The WRC Resource Library is located in a shared space with the Women's Studies Program in Wilson Hall, Room 10. Materials available include journals, periodicals, books, information files, and video tapes. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to utilize the materials at the Center.
