My primary job is to prepare monographs (including monographic documents and music items) for binding. When serials, monographs, and music items return from the bindery, I check through them to be sure all information is correct, that the volume is sound, and that they are bound properly in the way that we had indicated.I determine how music items are to be bound. Some need to be sent to the bindery and some we can sew in-house. I am also in charge of spending the music and mono binding budgets as precisely as possible. In addition, I check in serials online using the Millennium system and participate in other specific projects as needed.
