BIOGRAPHY

M. S. McGoldrick, known as "Mac", was an experienced and well-known fly fisherman from the state of Washington. He was a representative of a large aluminum company, which allowed him to travel extensively and engage in sport fishing many places in the Americas. He fished in rivers throughout South America from 1928 until 1965. Further biographical information is not readily available.

ARRANGEMENT AND DESCRIPTION

The papers of M. S. McGoldrick date from 1928 to 1976. They are arranged in chronological order when possible. This collection contains a journal of fishing trips taken by "Mac," which span forty years of fly fishing in the rivers of South America. Also included is a log book of fishing and fish caught, some correspondence, photographs of "Mac" in his later years, fishing pamphlets, and a map.
