This issue features the talents of three new writer/editors: Rosemary Streatfeild (Owen Reference), Heather Stout (Holland TSD) and Joel Cummings (Owen Reference). The Employee Development Working Group is very grateful for their contributions to this publication. Articles in this issue include a profile (with pictures) of the Architecture Library and a glimpse at the artistic talents of long-time employee Daryl Herbison. We also offer interviews with seven employees, including five that are new to the Libraries. WSU-Vancouver, WSU- TriCities and WSU-ICNE/Spokane weigh in with three articles, the first from our newly established Branch Campus liasons, Leslie Wycoff (Vancouver), Cheryl Farabee (TriCities) and Bob Pringle (Spokane). Our on-going features continue with the EDWG calendar of events and Nancy Baker's column Bytes from Baker. With this issue we also include a new page listing Personnel Information (eg. new appointments, transfers, resignations) within the Libraries. Sadly, we've not yet found the time to create the Photo Gallery and Archives so they're still "under construction". However, we hope to be able to bring them to you soon. And finally, we hope you will all consider contributing articles, opinions, letters, artwork, and/or photos (or ideas for any of these) for future issues. Look for our editorial guidelines on the submissions page. With this Spring issue we hope to inaugurate a quarterly publication schedule so there will be several opportunities throughout the year for your voice to be heard. -JAsh
