12/15/02 A note from the editor: I'm writing this note with a certain sort of wistful sadness to announce that LibWire, the WSU Libraries' online employee newsletter, has fallen victim to the budget situation and is, therefore, taking an extended leave of absence. Due to new workloads in Acquisitions (requiring more of my time) I have resigned as editor. As a result of that the Employee Development Working Group now wants to take some time to rethink the publication and determine whether it should continue and, if so, in what format. If you have comments, questions or ideas regarding the future of the publication, please send them to any EDWG member or myself (I will forward them to the working group). So here is LibWire's final issue in it's current format. As always, Happy Browsing....-JAsh
