Biographical

My academic background is in History. I have both a B.A. and a M.A. in History from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, as well as a Ph.D. in History from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In terms of my library background, I have a Masters of Library Science or M.L.S. degree, also from Louisiana State University. I have been employed as a Reference Librarian in Holland Library at Washington State University since 1984.

My current position is Humanities and Social Sciences Collection Development Manager. The duties of the position include: coordinating all areas of Humanities/Social Sciences Collection Development and serving as History Subject Specialist library liaison with the History Department. I have responsibility for all areas of History, except for Asian History.

On a personal note, I enjoy watching movies, all types of sports on television, doing activities with my two daughters, and playing racquetball.
