These records were accessioned by Bruce C. Harding, University Records Manager, on December 8, 1976 from the files of the Department of Criminal Justice formerly known as Police Science (1941-76). Contained in the files are data on the development of the Department's teaching program, job opportunities in the field, and a plan for a future building for the program. They were acquired under the Department's retention schedule (GAA53).

The documents are contained in four "Hollinger boxes" requiring two linear feet of shelving.
