Price Schedules and Forms for Reproduction of MASC Material

Price Schedules

Please do not submit payment until you receive notification / instructions / invoice.

1. Photocopies

If a source of a print is a negative, and a negative is not available, an additional $11.00 charge will be levied to cover the cost of producing one. The copy negative will remain the property of Manuscripts, Archives, and Special Collections.

3. Using Other Technology
Processing Fee
Scanning: Depending on the format and image size, price to be determined: from $5.00 per image (72 dpi - 1200 dpi TIF)
CD-ROM Burning: Includes cost of the CD: $10.00 per CD
DVD Burning: Includes the cost of the DVD: $25.00 per DVD
Audio Tape: Includes the cost of the audio tape:$10.00 per tape.
Video Tape: Includes cost of the VHS tape: $25.00 per tape.
Laser Printing: Color printing:$1.00 per image
Self-Reproduction: $1.00 per image (no charge for current WSU students).
Under special circumstances, arrangements may be made with MASC staff for self-reproducing material on the premises. Limited self-reproducing may be permitted, but only when such reproducing will not compromise the integrity of the original. In all cases proper and careful handling of the materials will be required, and staff may be present to advise and assist users.
The user must label all materials resulting from self-reproduction, and assumes full responsibility for copyright infringement. Material may not be further duplicated without permission.

Processing Fee: Negotiable. Charges may be required in cases involving large requests or rare, fragile, and oversize materials. $5.00 minimum. Additional charges may be required in cases involving large requests or rare, fragile, and oversize materials.
Shipping & Handling Fee: N/A $5.00 minimum. Rush requests and special mailing instructions may require an additional $10.00 charge.

Reproductions of MASC materials are subject to a per use image fee when approved for use in publishing, video production/film, exhibits, presentations, advertising, websites, or similar use. In addition, license fees may apply.

Reproduction and Permission Forms

Before ordering any reproductions from our collections, we require that you fill out and return a signed Reproduction Request form. All reproductions are provided for personal use only. Should you wish to publish, in any format, images, maps, correspondence, or other reproductions from our collections, you will also need to complete and return a Permissions Request form. These forms can be downloaded in Microsoft Word format on in PDF below and will also be provided upon request by MASC staff.
