The John W. & Mildred Bissinger Endowment allows Manuscripts Archives and Special Collections (MASC) to offer Conservation/Preservation Internships.
The successful candidates will work in the Conservation/Preservation Laboratory in MASC at Washington State University (Pullman, WA) under the supervision of Jennifer Jouas, Conservator/Preservation Museum Specialist. The intent is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to make sound decisions regarding archival mending techniques.

The internship is offered to a graduate student interested in Conservation/Preservation and who wants to gain a better understanding of the issue through hands-on experience. Candidates must have a 3.5 GPA and submit a resume and essay stating how this internship shall assist in advancing their interest in Conservation/Preservation.
